We had some leftover nuts frm CNY
like macadamia, almond and pistachio..
so my mum asked me to finish the macadamia
nuts(at first i thought it was hazelnut!!haha)
So when our school holidays started..
i decided to bake bread AGAIN.:)
i know i'm obsessed with bread but its so
fun watching them rising and when u get to see
them coming out frm the oven,
i'll get a very satisfying feeling.:)
it's like a hardwrk has paid off!
It'll be better if i get good feedbacks.
I've been cracking my heard whether
i wanna bake cinnamon roll or sweet potato bun
cuz i have some left over steamed sweet potato
in the fridge.( i might as well use them b4 they spoil)
the i decided to use a basic sweet bun recipe so i
can divide them to 2 so we'll get 2 types of bread!
I chopped the macadamia nuts and sprinkled together
with the cinnamon powder and brown sugar..
the combination is great! but somehow the rolls turned
out alil dry. Mayb becuz of the temperature of the oven?
i knows its nt the lack of moisture frm the milk or butter
cause my sweet potato filled bun turned out fine.
And for my sweet potato filled bun,
they were so heavy becuz i fill a LOT of the sweet potato
paste! haha! but it nt that sweet so the amount is nt that bad.
but Miss Sugar said i could make the paste slightly sweeter.
she said that this bun is one of my best.
She ranked my Best No.1 Bread is none other than the Charcoal Bun.
