Happy Birthday to Me!!

Sorry for nt updating 4 so long..
My birthday was like 1 week+ ago already..
Anyways. i was quite happy that a lot of ppl wished
me..:)
We went to but my b'day cake at permaisuri..
That store nvr sell green tea cake already so
i have to pick another..

We asked for the freshly baked 1..
the girl said that the pumpkin-longan cake
 and the fruit cake..
So i asked whether is there's any for testing..
she said yes so i tried that 2 cake and the black sesame..
nt bad..but i think pumpkin-longan is very rare so i picked that cake..

The top is quite fancy so there's no room
to 'write' my name with icing so they use a plastic sheet
to place over my cake..
YUM YUM!!
The cake was interesting n nice but a lil dry..

Yesterday went to Sushi King 4
lunch and i brought my camera along..
:) Ate soft crab roll and cg's 'dun want to eat'
fish/stingray..

Mum ate sashimi..teri ate beef rice
and cg ordered grilled salmon
as a replacement for the fish/stingray..
then she ate matcha ice cream..
then we went shopping nearby..

and she ranked donghae as her
second choice..

Before writing this post..
i was posting about my school
but i accidently delete it!!!
AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
That could be my longest post ever!!!!
i put my heart and soul to that post but
i dun feel like retyping..
So many apologies to my carelessness and laziness..

My day bought me a purple
Canon camera but i found out that
it's nt that clear..
Luckily still can exchange..
So my dad get me the new Sony
Cyber-shot camera..
So happy..cuz its my fav colour PURPLE!!

Christmas Eve/ Christmas Day.

Yesterday..whole day..
all of us busy baking cookies and pie..
We made Pumpkin Pie, Apple Pie And Sugar Cookies..
I made Gingerbread Man but its too bready
so threw them away..:(

My sisters baked the Sugar cookies together
and used the christmas tree mould.
then we decorated them with choco chips, sprinkles and M&M's.
I mashed the steamed pumpkin and made the
custard filling..DELICIOUS!

Baked them while decorating the apple pie
with flowers and leaves using leftover
pastry.
the Pies and the Cookies looked Gorgeous!!

Then We get ready for the candlenight service.
This year's service wasn't as lively as last year's.
I wore a colourful dress with a mini sweater/scarf.
After the service, my dad bought Ramly Burger
For Miss Sugar and Benjol for himself.
He even bought some satay.

Next Day..aka Today..
woke up 8am sharp..
went to toilet and came dwn..NO PRESENTS!!!!!!!
T.T..disappointed.. then teri mama came dwn
and said ' REALLY NO PRESENTS??'
i said 'Mayb they hide them somewhere'
(my parents said this year we will get money..i hope
they r nt serious)
Till this second i haven't receive any gifts..:(

then mum prepared the Turkey while i helped
chop the vege for the gravy..
This year she cooked Turkey ala Jamie and MUM style~
the gravy was YUM YUM YUM!!!
can't wait to eat turkey pot pie!!
while the turkey is baking.
my parents went to exercise..

I stay at home smelling the baking turkey in the oven~
MMMMMMmm.... then around 10.30am
i started to make the sweet rolls/dinner rolls
for our Christmas Feast.
Knead..knead...rise..
shape..shaped..rise..

the turkey smelt DIVINE!!
then i preheat the oven for my rolls..
i watched my dad carve the turkey..
while my dog wag his tail waiting for the
turkey to drop! Popped the rolls and baked for 15mins.

then we changed and took pics.
arranged the food and took pic again..
TIME TO DIG IN!!
SIMPLY DELICIOUS!! ALL HOME COOKED!!

 aunty kala gave this chocolate cake.

PMR Results!

On The 23rd Of December 2010,
I, Nikki was super nervous.
I can't sleep..i toss and turn the whole night.
I just have this feeling that i will get 6 a's.
Woke up with my eyes wide open. O.O

Went dwn, grab something to eat to calm
myself. Bath (still speechless/eyes wide open)
changed to school uni and packed my casual
clothes ( later we'll go Cold Storage to Buy Turkey)
went dwn...

Nearly forgt to bring my pmr Slip.
( we nvr get to use the slip anyway..)
went to school..wave to friends..
(cool..cool..)
10am..
No sign of teachers with results
( the newspaper claim that the results
wil be announced at 10...LIAR)


11am..
students started to gather around..
gt curious so i went for it..saw
my english teacher and she apologised
for nt replying my msg and congratulated me..
???( i was like huh?? could be 6 a mah..)
Pintar already got their results..
(even more nervous)
started to 'line up'
our discipline teacher is the one to give
us our results.

so far 3 ppl have straight A's..
my family were in front of me..
dad getting anxious...
i sat dwn..( chill..chill..)
ok..took my koko result: C!!
haha..
then teacher started flipping the
results to search for my name..

Turtle Queen and Vanessa was
rite beside me..then turtle queen
with her (eagle eye) saw my name and
pointed my results to teacher..
turtle queen said that i will surely get
7a. then i said impossible.
she then say, i have to belanja her if i get straight a's.

then i said ok. then teacher reach out her
hand and said 'Congratulations! Straight A's!'
I was in shock and was relieved at the same time.
u guys would be expecting me to scream or something
but guess what.. the first word came out frm my mouth was
'U R JOKING..' I realised that it ain't a joke and stood up.

Miss Sugar hugged me and my mum hugged me for 4 times
and started crying. my dad was busy making a video. ( i thought
he was taking pictures.)
My dad was a lil teary  and hugged and congratulated me..
(WOW! GOD IS GREAT)
Miss Sugar gt teary a lil and Miss Spicy hugged me too.:)

I felt so proud..Dod really helped me.
U have no idea how many times i prayed at night.
Anyways..CONGRATS TO 2010 PMR CANDIDATES!!
WE R THE BEST!!!YAY!! THIS CALLS FOR A CELEBRATION!!

Loaves!

That Monday..i wanted to make
a sandwich loaf.For the second loaf,
i added some carrot(so nt so boring)
then SUDDENLY, my dad came home.
he said he's nt well..

then i said, mayb it was the tennis.
he said no. he say mayb it's food poisoning..
i don't know what do cuz my mum's
nt home.( i felt so lame yet i'm a st.john qualified member)

Then i just boil some barley cuz
since he don't wanna drink some HO HO Horlicks.
or even MILO.
then, i text mum to tell her that her 'lou kong'
is sick.
After 20 mins my mum came bck n brought
bck some bread! LOL

She even bought the french bread frm Delifrance.
(we seldom ate french bread, we usually use Gardenia)
she says tonight we'll be eating Spaghetti.
bck to my bread...
after letting it out of the oven.
i took some pic and slice some( share half with
miss Sugar)
i haven ate lunch btw.

I melted some cheese!! and spread on top!!
MMMMMMMMmmmmm!!!!!!
Delicious!! Nothing beats Fresh bread out from the oven!
My mum also can't resist fresh bread and she ate too..
as always..miss sugar spread some butter and SUGAR!

This was quite a few weeks ago..
(nt so brown but nt bad)

ain't easy to scrap them of frm the pan!

Plain ol' Loaf. Mum says it's my best yet.
